Feedback about our workshops and performances

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Wirral

The performance was amazing. The story was great, the actors were really funny and the children loved the action and jokes. The children have been learning about growth mind set, so the performance really supported this. The children were thoroughly engaged. You are always very professional when you come, and I have to say very easy to work with in school and when organising a visit.

I loved playing Hera in our play

Thank you for a wonderful drama day – it was fantastic! I loved every second of it and so did all of my friends. It was so fun to perform with the whole class and it was always so funny. I got over a bit of stage fright and loved playing Hera in our play. Thank you again for teaching us, it was an amazing experience!

The performance was professional, age appropriate and very engaging. There was a great balance of storytelling, acting, singing and audience participation. Our children with SEND, some of them quite complex, were totally engaged. All of the staff thought the performance was the best they’d seen in or out of school.

Positively inspired

I just want to say how much my grandson and I enjoyed the morning we spent in your company on Saturday at Garston library watching Charlotte’s Web. William was positively inspired and was talking about it all weekend.

A fun and interactive way to teach the children. They learned so much throughout the day without even realising it. The class had so much fun and being able to perform to the parents was fantastic. We had our session at the beginning of the topic, and it gave the children a great foundation of knowledge.

We have been working with Altru Drama for over 10 years now. We recommend them highly. They are an invaluable part of many of our topics and we believe the Learn & Perform workshop is an important strategy in helping children to more fully understand complex situations, historical concepts or plays. The staff are always of a high quality and our children really enjoy the opportunity to learn in this way!
