CALL FOR PRACTITIONERS
Altru Drama CIC are now recruiting for Applied Theatre and Drama practitioners to join our freelance team, working with children and young people aged 4 – 25.
We are keen to hear from practitioners across the UK with a strong understanding of applied theatre practices, a passion for inspiring young people through creativity and a desire to bring the two together through creative workshops and projects.
We are particularly keen to hear from practitioners who are able / willing to travel, therefore, we will be prioritising drivers with their own vehicle for this role.
A good understanding of safeguarding practices is desirable, but training will also be provided.
We are keen to hear from practitioners from across the UK - you do not need to have a Liverpool base to apply.
Rates of pay around £30 per hour.
The closing date for applications is Monday 24th March
Workshop auditions and interviews will be held in Liverpool on Monday 7th April 2025

We are keen to hear from practitioners with a strong understanding of applied theatre practices, a passion for inspiring young people through creativity and a desire to bring the two together through creative workshops and projects.
We are particularly keen to hear from practitioners who are able / willing to deliver workshops in evenings and weekends and are keen to work on longer term projects, developing relationships with young people and supporting their creative journeys.
A good understanding of safeguarding practices is desirable, but training will also be provided.
Rates of pay around £30 per hour.

Thursday 11th January 2024 - Thursday 18th January 2024 (Weekdays only)
Tour:
Friday 19th January 2024- Friday 8th March 2024 (North-West Tour, Weekdays Only)
Fee:
£500.00 P/W (Pro Rata where applicable)
ROLES AVAILABLE:
1 x FEMALE PERFORMER
We are keen to hear from actors who can bring a youthful energy and who have a young look for this character.
2 x MULTIROLE: Male / Female / Non-Binary performers
We would like to cast actors who are able to play lots of different characters both vocally and physically and who have a playful energy.
Midlands/National tour (Actors must have their own North-West base for the rehearsal period in Liverpool, accommodation will be provided on weekdays during the tour)
Rehearsals:
Thursday 18th January 2024 - Thursday 25th January 2024 (Weekdays only)
Tour:
Friday 26th January 2024 - Friday 23rd February 2024 (National Tour- Weekday performances some Sunday Travel)
Fee:
£500.00 P/W (Pro Rata where applicable)
Accommodation is provided on tour and subsistence payments are also made.
