E-Safety Roadshow!

On Tuesday 22nd March we attended the Barney and Echo Roadshow at Goodison Park, Liverpool. The roadshows are run by the Police Community Clubs and are a fantastic way for teachers and pupils to learn about E-Safety from local organisations and the police. We had a fantastic day meeting schools from across Liverpool and giving out chocolates in return for pieces of advice about staying safe online – this, of course, proved very popular with the 150 pupils in attendance!

It was also fascinating to see the pupils respond to quizzes and questions from the police about social media and gaming and to see just how much they know about sites that they aren’t actually old enough to use yet.

We also got to meet Chang the Elephant (Everton FC’s mascot!) and talk a lot about Tangled Web – which is our performance and workshop package all about E-Safety, specially designed for KS2.
You can find out more about Tangled Web here including our May tour dates in the North West.

If you’d like more info about Barney and Echo, then take a look at their website: https://www.barneyecho.co.uk/ they have E-Safety books available for schools across the UK.
We’ll also be attending the Bradford Roadshow on the 19th May so we look forward to meeting Bradford schools there and showing them a sneak peek of Tangled Web.
