Ancient Greeks

Bring The Ancient Greeks to life for your students through an interactive and memorable drama workshop. This topic works brilliantly when delivered through drama; imagine the Gods, the myths, the Olympics and more, all brought to life in your school hall!

If you are studying Ancient Greece with your pupils, then a drama workshop can really bring the topic to life – allowing children to explore the way people lived, the challenges they faced and how life for Ancient Greek people differed from life today.

We use engaging and participatory drama activities to support pupils’ learning about how Ancient Greece influenced the Western World and give children the opportunity to explore the facts, dates and places in a creative and memorable way.

Getting the best out of your Ancient Greeks drama workshop

Our workshops need to take place in the school hall ideally, securing this space for the day of the workshop will help it run really smoothly (we can absolutely move into a classroom for lunchtime set up if needed)
Make sure a teacher or TA will be present in the workshop to support the pupils and help us understand their needs.
If you would like pupils to dress up we are happy for you to do this! We don’t provide costumes (as we don’t feel they are needed for the learning to take place) but we can always help with ideas of what to wear if you want to do this.
