Explore Days are a fantastic way for schools to inject some creativity into learning and development.
Our Mental Health Explore Day allows you to choose 4 classes to take part in creative drama workshops. Each class works with our practitioner for up to 90 minutes, developing their understanding of mental health, increasing their confidence and learning practical skills for self care and seeking support.
All Explore Days are planned in a bespoke way – we use an online survey to give teaching staff the chance to tell us their specific requirements for their class’ workshop. With mental health, this is more important than ever – meaning we can deal with real problems and issues and our work can have a meaningful and lasting impact.
Using your learning/development objectives, our expert practitioners then create an innovative and inspiring workshop plan packed with creative drama activities and games. Each activity is carefully designed to meet the objectives of the session and help pupils make progress.
And, of course, because it’s drama – the session is a huge amount of fun, helping children talk and discuss without worry or concern and giving them a chance to develop and express their opinions in a creative and comfortable environment.
