The Tudors

Ignite your pupils curiosity with a drama workshop all about the terrible and terrific Tudor Times.

There’s lots to discover from this period of history, and drama is the perfect way to help children understand how people lived and what life was like for both royalty and regular people in Tudor England.

We can offer a drama workshop on the Tudors for every school year group, giving children the chance to learn about key figures and important dates as they immerse themselves in the stories of Henry 8th, Elizabeth 1st and more.

Our workshops are participatory and creative – we engage all children in every activity and the whole session is themed around the topic, helping children embed their knowledge all while developing their confidence through performance and speaking and listening.

Getting the best out of your The Tudors drama workshop

Our workshops need to take place in the school hall ideally, securing this space for the day of the workshop will help it run really smoothly (we can absolutely move into a classroom for lunchtime set up if needed)
Make sure a teacher or TA will be present in the workshop to support the pupils and help us understand their needs.
If you would like pupils to dress up we are happy for you to do this! We don’t provide costumes (as we don’t feel they are needed for the learning to take place) but we can always help with ideas of what to wear if you want to do this.
