The Vikings

Let your pupils explore the Viking invasion of Britian through a fast-paced, engaging drama workshop that will develop their understanding and confidence in the topic.

The Vikings works brilliantly when delivered through drama as children play the characters, explore the communities, reenact the raids and imagine what life would have been like in a Viking market – all without leaving your school hall.

We use fun and participatory drama activities to support pupils’ learning about the Vikings and give children the opportunity to explore the facts, dates and places in a creative and memorable way.

Getting the best out of your The Vikings drama workshop

Our workshops need to take place in the school hall ideally, securing this space for the day of the workshop will help it run really smoothly (we can absolutely move into a classroom for lunchtime set up if needed)
Make sure a teacher or TA will be present in the workshop to support the pupils and help us understand their needs.
If you would like pupils to dress up we are happy for you to do this! We don’t provide costumes (as we don’t feel they are needed for the learning to take place) but we can always help with ideas of what to wear if you want to do this.
