Liverpool History

Explore the rich history of Liverpool with a creative and active drama workshop which helps children understand where they come from and what makes the city so special!

Pupils learn about the origins of the city, going all the way back to King John in 1207. They explore the city's most famous buildings and people as well as key moments in Liverpool's history - using role play and creativity to help them envisage and understand.

We use engaging and fun drama activities to support pupils’ learning and development, giving them chance to play, explore, be the characters and put themselves in others’ shoes.

Getting the best out of your Liverpool History drama workshop

Our workshops need to take place in the school hall ideally, securing this space for the day of the workshop will help it run really smoothly (we can absolutely move into a classroom for lunchtime set up if needed)
Make sure a teacher or TA will be present in the workshop to support the pupils and help us understand their needs.
If you would like pupils to dress up we are happy for you to do this! We don’t provide costumes (as we don’t feel they are needed for the learning to take place) but we can always help with ideas of what to wear if you want to do this.
