The Great Fire of London

Let your pupils explore the events and impact of The Great Fire of London through an interactive and memorable drama workshop. This is one of our most popular topics as children learn facts, dates and key individuals from this time period, but also have chance to explore the human and emotional impact of the Great Fire and how it affected the city of London and the whole of Britain.

If you are learning about The Great Fire of London with your pupils, then a drama workshop can really bring the subject to life, giving them a deeper and more rounded understanding.

Our sessions utilise fun, engaging and creative activities which allow pupils to learn practically and retain the knowledge for years to come.

Getting the best out of your The Great Fire of London drama workshop

Our workshops need to take place in the school hall ideally, securing this space for the day of the workshop will help it run really smoothly (we can absolutely move into a classroom for lunchtime set up if needed)
Make sure a teacher or TA will be present in the workshop to support the pupils and help us understand their needs.
If you would like pupils to dress up we are happy for you to do this! We don’t provide costumes (as we don’t feel they are needed for the learning to take place) but we can always help with ideas of what to wear if you want to do this.
