Titanic

Transport your pupils to 1912 and the disaster of the Titanic through an imaginative drama workshop that develops empathy and understanding.

If your class are learning the Titanic, then a drama workshop can really bring the topic to life – giving children the chance to play key characters, memorise facts and dates and learn about the luxurious but ill-fated ship through activity and participation.

We use engaging and fun drama activities in our workshops, which support pupils’ learning about this important piece of history, helping them to understand how and why it happened as well as learning more broadly about the ship, the people onboard and the chronology of events.

Getting the best out of your Titanic drama workshop

Our workshops need to take place in the school hall ideally, securing this space for the day of the workshop will help it run really smoothly (we can absolutely move into a classroom for lunchtime set up if needed)
Make sure a teacher or TA will be present in the workshop to support the pupils and help us understand their needs.
If you would like pupils to dress up we are happy for you to do this! We don’t provide costumes (as we don’t feel they are needed for the learning to take place) but we can always help with ideas of what to wear if you want to do this.
