Tangled Web is a 45 minute online safety performance for all of Key Stage 2. It is performed in your school hall and is a fresh and exciting way to explore safer internet use.
Brodie, Jay and Lily all love using the internet – who doesn’t? It’s a great way to stay in touch, feel connected and learn new things. But it isn’t always fun and games and Brodie, Jay and Lily each have an e-safety story to tell about a time when they’ve felt unsafe or vulnerable while using the internet.
Can they learn from each other’s mistakes and stay safer online?
The play is designed to help primary school children explore and identify risks associated with using the internet. Through watching the characters’ stories, children learn about the dangers of online use and consider ways that they can make their own internet use safer.
What an excellent performance. Very thought provoking. A brilliant way to get a very important message across. Loved how you made it age appropriate – the children really enjoyed it and the message was loud and clear.
The Altru team were excellent – they really engaged the children, covering a host of online safety issues in a fun but serious way. All of the children were engaged in the performance and were reminded of how to be safer when they go online. The apps referenced were all relevant. Very powerful and encourages safe, responsible and respectful use of the social media and the internet. I would recommend to schools.
