As you might have heard, we love Shakespeare! The stories, the characters, the settings and – of course – the language. And we believe that Shakespeare can be explored with great success by children in key stages 1 and 2 – the earlier we introduce children to Shakespeare, the more comfortable they will be with it as they grow up.
We offer a number of Shakespeare workshops and projects, which are perfect for early exploration or for extending pupils’ knowledge of the text.
We’ve put together some tried and tested resources for you, all free to download, print and use in your class. There’s a resource for 3 different plays – the ones we know are studied most often in primary schools.
You can find out more about each of the options we offer here:
You can choose from a full day with a performance at the end, or fast paced workshops for the whole school. We can even build a bespoke programme which is designed to meet the needs of your pupils.
Give us a call to have a chat about the options – we’re on 0151 443 0333.
And if you do use any of our resources in class – let us know! We’d love to hear about it.
